    Of course today is the biggest picture day...the Middle Rhine where all the castles are one after another. We awoke to fog so we were a little worried but the captain slowed the ship and the fog lifted and it was a perfect day. Still a little chilly up on the sun deck but beautiful.     We awoke to an overcast and foggy day along the Rhine River, passed by Frankfurt through the early morning (still dark) and left the Main River at Mainz. Following breakfast, we prepared for the scenic portion of the Rhine River. Up on the sun deck (not sunny) we had our Program Director commenting for an hour and a half as we worked our way to Koblenz.     ... 2-3 hours it was pleasant riding. The cycle paths were all along side the main roads as there is much were else to put them. There are vines being grown up all the valley sides wherever there is a spare piece of topsoil. The guesthouse/hotel is nice and the owners made us an evening meal.
