    An hour drive from Trier, we finally reached Koblenz. Got to see a piece of Berlin wall, had a typical German meal Schweinshaxe (Pork Knuckle with mashed potato and Sauerkraut) pair with a local beer! Yum!     We were up early and dropped into the centre of Amsterdam town to explore the city for three hours. A groups of us wondered down to the iconic Amsterdam sign to get a picture. The streets of Amsterdam were filled with canals, bright flowers and lotsssss of bikes. We all almost got wiped out by bike riders flying past us when we were crossing their bike lanes.     ... 2-3 hours it was pleasant riding. The cycle paths were all along side the main roads as there is much were else to put them. There are vines being grown up all the valley sides wherever there is a spare piece of topsoil. The guesthouse/hotel is nice and the owners made us an evening meal.
