    We are cruising down the Middle Rhine today with more than 40 castles and fortresses along the way keeping watch. It is impossible not to begin to imagine the medieval days. Our guide told us it was a dangerous endeavor to travel up and down the stretch of this part of the river.     The day was spent at the Nurburgring – Fun park for rev-heads. Stan and Dave enjoyed it.

    ... 2-3 hours it was pleasant riding. The cycle paths were all along side the main roads as there is much were else to put them. There are vines being grown up all the valley sides wherever there is a spare piece of topsoil. The guesthouse/hotel is nice and the owners made us an evening meal. I had the homemade ravioli whereas the two carnivores went for the chicken and rump ...
