    A good nights sleep last night moored in Boppard it was still very hot when we went to bed but overnight there was a thunderstorm and hopefully today will be cooler. This morning we leave here at 9am and sail to Ruddesheim by lunchtime. Loving this river cruising so relaxing and The William Shakespeare is a fabulous ship. Having a lazy start but the suns now coming out so will have to get up and get the day started. More relaxation, food, food and more food must cut down today ...

    ... 2-3 hours it was pleasant riding. The cycle paths were all along side the main roads as there is much were else to put them. There are vines being grown up all the valley sides wherever there is a spare piece of topsoil. The guesthouse/hotel is nice and the owners made us an evening meal.
