I was getting my hair done at Shear Perfection / Hair Port, when Rosemary strolled in to get her hair done. As we finished up, in walked Marti, ready to do her great work there, and it turned out her first customer was Gayle! What a small world, and what a great level of excitement! Thought we'd document this with a picture.

... There is a trail called the Root River State Trail that comes right through the area, so lots of people were there with their bikes. The restaurant is a huge white barn with tons of artifacts inside, and fantastic food, so we really lucked out. We met a couple at the campsite next to us and had supper with them - a really nice night out.

Bob took the opportunity to totally reorganize our extensive cargo area to accommodate the myriad adaptive junk we picked up related to the kayak...transfer bench, paddles, outriggers, seat, carrier, etc. so he could get everything in. It fit...barely! Bob has also been on a roll with various other repairs and such. We also have replaced our sleep number bed with a mattress and topper which is MUCH ...

... of the women of our family riding together – and headed for West Concord. And it was a great way to finish this year’s trip – sunshine, a nice tailwind, and the 4 of us riding together. What a blessing from God to be able to do these trips!

We cruised along at sometimes 21 mph, and then when we’d go up a gradual hill, Haydynne would pedal so hard to help her mom – and Becca says it really does help. We saw the ...
