Carretera A Caldera Puntarenas, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica
... out and I’m going to miss her laughter and sense of humor! Then we have Evan, he took care of me when I was puking my brains out on the way back from Santa Teresa Beach a few Sundays back and has always been there for me helping me out in Poetry class whenever needed and taking me aside and giving me the 4-1-1 on “ser/estar” I’m going to miss him saying “Queeee Liiiiindaaaa” to me with that little smirk. I ...
Puntarenas, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica katie.egelandJune 25-26<br><br>Billings to Denver (1.5 hour), Denver to San Fran (2.5 hours), San Fran to Miami (5.5 hour), Miami to Costa Rica (3.5 hours). Miami to Costa Rica was flown first-class. They started us off with Champaign then warm, salted nuts, then mixed Greek salad with balsamic vinaigrette, a whole wheat role, fresh halibut with vegetables and roasted red potatoes accompanied with red wine. It was incredible; the flight attendants were so helpful and ...
Puntarenas, Puntarenas, Costa Rica katie.egelandWell, we got off to a good start today as we arrived in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. After boarding our bus in some rather warm weather, we set off on a 1 hour journey to a place between Puntarenas and San Jose, Costa Rica. Our destination was a tour titled "The Original Canopy Tour." Upon our arrival, we were fitted with a harness similar to a parachute harness; then, we ...
Montezuma, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica nic-mar... i et værelse. Men ...
Puntarenas, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica tanjahvid... my name and whatever deposit required down to return to this incredible place. No wonder there is a 2 year waiting list to come here. 27/11/08 - Up at 7am for another hearty breakfast and the obligatory cup of Costa Rican Arabica, the food is delicious and copious in quantity, what with all the evening beer consumption so as to suppress Billy's digs about drinking like a girl I'm gonna put on a stone in weight over the remaining 7 days! The first dive was at 'Dirty Rock ...
Puntarenas, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica michaelandsuzy... just really cool swimming underneath the waterfall. Then, we hiked to the top of the second waterfall where you have a view from above on both waterfalls. Some of the more daring hikers jump off the waterfalls and swim in the pool between the waterfalls. I am not that daring! I spent most of the morning on Sunday on the beach, enjoying my first Costa Rican sunshine! It has been non-stop raining in San Carlos since I ...
Montezuma, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica carinleigh... night the vendors light candles at there tables so you can continue to shop. Music plays and there are bonfires on the beach. As you know, I befriend all the stray dogs. One night I bought a bag of treats and happily handed them out! It was another quick trip and we got back into Quepos last night. After traveling it feels good to come to a home. Until next time. .. Lots of Love! Danie
Montezuma, Costa Rica danie83... out the trousers and jumpers we had stuffed away after NZ. he reason we came to Santa Elena was to visit the forest. We did a trek through the forest which is actually transitional between cloud forest and rainforest. Something to do with the quantities and varieties of nutrients in the soil which affects its ability to grow Palms (which need large quantities of one type of nutrient and this forest is rich in iron). The walk ...
Santa Elena, Costa Rica lauramills... one of the tarantulas legs, which still preceded to move across the floor unbeknown to me, until it touched my toe. Creating a brand new hysteria of tears. When it rains, it pours!!! My insurance does not cover my camera, no more music on the bus, all my grading sheets and school stuff was saved on my flash drive and a $175 cancellation fee on my phone. But again I am alive and well!! And thanking god. I still love it here!?!
