... The Marriott is in a great location and a really nice hotel, it's just not one of the fancy ones. We enjoyed complimentary valet and then hit the pool as it was nearing 40 degrees. The pool is tiny in comparison to the other big hotels and there were some interesting characters but it was entertaining.

Feeling flush with the initial $2 win we decided to squander it on carnival games on the upstairs part of Circus Circus. I did the clown balloons which inflate, as Sean Connery (the best Bond) did in Diamonds are forever. I even won. No diamonds for me though, just a bear. We watched the trapezium act, which was ...

... I could not believe it, we had organised to go out for dinner that night at a beautiful restaurant, he said it was a surprise and he'll meet me at 8:00. I went back to the hotel and had a nice hot shower and got ready. I was panicking nothing ever goes right for me when I need it to, I cannot find my beautiful black lace dress. I am pulling everything apart and throwing everything everywhere, my room is an absolute mess, but finally I found ...
