... of the authentic Philly Cheese Steak, sadly I found out during my time in the area, that the definition has been somewhat diluted. Anybody, it seems, can put dry crumbled beef on a bun, cover it with melted CheezWhiz and call it a PCS. The one I had in the hotel bar was so bad I only had 3 or 4 bites. The barkeep took it off my bill, and said it happens all the time!

... pretty cool, and the mix of building styles - including low level brick and 'dilapidated' - just add to the feeling that it has more history than most of the cities I've been.

My host is really nice and we headed straight out for dinner at a BBQ joint. This place was trying really hard to be authentic, which apparently means that tables have to be leather-topped, napkin stands need to be attached with a vice, and that half a dozen types of red sauce ...

that nap hit the spot now its time for PHILLY!!!!
yeaaaa boy first time in Philly. Time for tapas from Amada's. Of course its packed but we found a spot at the bar. This place is awesome, good lighting, fancy yet not. Bomb drinks at the bar, not to mention a $33 glass of beer on the menu from Spain, ill try that when im balling out one day.
