This was the worst day of my trip so far.

It is a tossup which city I would label Hell City - Laredo or Monterrey

Got into Laredo at 1:00 am..
First 3 hotels I tried were full - no vacancies..
Checked into a Mexican hotel at 2:00 am...
Got into a Mexican Hotel (since it was in Texas - Laredo) it is referred ...

... day. I just had to run outside and unlatch the door so we could close it. Raining hard.

Heard a weather report about very rainy weather and flash flooding on our route for the next few days, so not quite sure where we're going to head.

I made a yummy roasted red-pepper and pasta dish for dinner. Yum, yum.

... and head for Aguascaliente where Ana family await her. We met brother, sister, mother, father and grandmother. They could not have been more sweet. It was late and raining by this point but they help us find a beautiful Motel, The San Marcos, which would allow us to have Skipper and Rascal in our room. Slept like a LOG!
