... full of laughing and exploring. I made a sopa de refigerator for dinner- threw all of our left overs into a big pot and simmered! rice, hominy, pork, beef, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, cilantro, onion, garlic. All and all, not bad!!! :-) The night ended with a perfect impromptu bonfire on the back 9 of the property. A right good bohemian sing along around a large crackling hot prehistoric tv set. Once some of the tribe returned from their climbs we all walked up to Magic Ed's margarita truck and shared some cocktails as we watched the final climbers finish off in the park as the sun set. ... consisted of a trip to the market for more food! :-) I managed to get pork and queso panela from the counter all on my own with my awesomely broken spanish :-) While chatting up the climbers around the dinner table I found out the two things I climbed were "50 Foot Smurf" a 5.9 and "Pimpeñada!" a 5.9 that is really a 5.10. I have no idea what that means exactly- but apparently I did pretty well. ...

... Then we arrived at Thermas de San Juoaqine-natural hot springs. A lovely building and spiral walkway leading down to the pool. I opened the door and walked through a thick wall of sulfur smelling steam to be pleasantly surprised by a very large grecian style soaking pool. Heaven! A little tequila and a soak does a body well!
