When I went to open the shutter this morning the cord broke and with an almighty crash down it came. Luckily we had not left anything on the balcony as there is no way we would have been able to get it. The room was very claustrophobic with the shutter down so we left as soon as we could. Our aim for today was to finish off exploring around Cefalu and then to catch the train for the one hour journey from Cefalu to spend a quick couple of hours in Palermo. Cefalu is located on the North East coast of Sicily and is only 70 kilometres, or in our case a one hour train ride, out of the capital city of Palermo.
