Older Hotel / Casino. We got a great rate $22 night. Room was clean and decent. Almost everywhere except our room smelled like smoke.

By the afternoon was all tired and so headed back to hotel via a skate shop in Brooklyn, dodgy area I think but Nat does roller derby and was keen to buy some new skates. uber'd back from there to the ...

While we were at Keys View, I ended up needing to use the rest room. Since you're out in the middle of nowhere, the park service is very accommodating by providing what they call a "pit toilet" which is basically a small building with a hole in the floor and a toilet seat mounted above the hole. As I entered the building, ...

We walked from the Bellagio along the Strip, through the Caesars' Palace hotel and Mirage to a great breakfast place called the Pantry. Everyone had their first fix of American pancakes, maple syrup and bacon ...

This portion of the Grand Canyon was on land that has been returned to the Native Americans. Papillon has a contract with the Native Americans to take helicopter tours to their helipad in the canyon. Within the National Park (Grand Canyon), all tours ...

... was definitely not too much, and I would recommend going for at least this amount of time. Despite the cool weather (which was really only bothersome on the first night and quite pleasant after that, especially during the day) I would recommend this time of year to go, also, since it’s the start of the season and not completely overrun with people yet. That being said we did need to book accommodation weeks ...
