    ... whilst hyperventilating - that I used the room they store boxes (it was just empty) - awkward.

    After going into about ten other stores I finally found a cheap(er) thick and not ugly warm coat! I was so excited oh my gosh, the other ones were from 90-400€ and she couldn't work out why I wasn't buying them!! This one was only 60€ and my gosh I was sweating after having it on for a few seconds it's so hot - and heavy! ...

    ... the Royal Palace which Rick Steves rates alongside Versailles outside Paris and Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna. We pass through Puerto del Sol Plaza and Plaza Espana with its monument to the author Miguel de Cervantes.     ... join them and soak up the late afternoon warmth. Dessert tonight will be real Spanish Chocolate and churros. I have found an authentic little bar a few blocks from our hotel, simply called Chocolat. It is tiny and narrow, with a few tables and seats at the bar. Men in overalls are having chocolate with churros at the bar, old couples are at the tables. We order the standard dish. Bowls of melted dark chocolate and a pile of churros arrive. We dip the crisp strips of batter ...
