Our trip to Milano got a late start--not our fault. The high speed train, Frecciarossa, was delayed over an hour due to some political rumblings/rallies in Bologna.

We made it just on time to our lunch visit with Vera, our very first teacher of Italian, ...

We returned to the hotel for a little rest before having an ...

Woke up at the crack of dawn, gulped down our baguette, croissant, juice, and pot of coffee each then caught a taxi straight to the airport in plenty of time for our 11am flight to Milan.
