... slides in the area and I ended up going on one of their major rides called the Hurricane too.
After hanging out in this area for awhile (and taking advantage of the lazy river), we decided to check one of the other areas out (called Wild West Water park) to see what we could do around there the next day. ... first stop today was the Wisconsin Dells Natural Area. There was a trail that took us down to the river. It had some beautiful views of the rocks and cliffs. There was also a lot of sand so Dad & the Kids went down to get their feet wet. I don't like water much so Mom and I stayed back to take pictures. The rocks were amazing and we were blessed with a beautiful day of sunshine instead of the forecast rain and clouds. ...
... blowing bubbles on everyone. I'm guessing that the increase in the number of children seated around the track had something to do with that.
From here we headed out in hopes of finding a trail where we could hike to the gorge and view the canyon before the thunderstorms let loose. Unfortunately, we were not able to beat the storms so we returned to the hotel.
We didn't put many miles on today but we definitely fed the fun meter for this ...
though and in the last few days they have had them go through Chicago
and Michigan which are both destinations in the next week for us.
