Ctra Blanes 23 Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands, 17310, 34-972-364-550
... this period of year there are mostly aged people resting there, however I noticed there a lot of clubs near the beaches, so I consider that in summer this town is full of students. The beaches are sandy and what is important all those beaches are public. And one more thing - there are NO PRIVATE BEACHES in Lloret de Mar!
Lloret de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands eleoshka... not fighting the cars for space. There are lots of arts and craft vendors selling all types of items but nothing that is making me open up my wallet and surrender my euro's. To figure out the euro to dollar exchange rate just divide the price in half and add it to the price so EUR20 is really USD30 more or less. No wonder I’m not wanting to buy anything, imagine going to any store with a 50% increase sale!

I’m currently in a café’ ...
Santa Cruz de la Palma, Canary Islands, Spain and Canary Islands cruiseone2003... in the morning about teaching practice and methodology, then in the afternoon we have teaching practice, where we either teach or watch the other trainees teach. There are 6 trainees in total, some of whom are really cool, some of whom serve to affirm my normality. I´ve had two 30 minute sessions of teaching individually now. First one I was really nervous which showed a bit, second one went much better which was nice. Good to ...
Granollers, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands dave-mcgowan... at Roses looked much better with a lot more seafood included.

After lunch we set off up to the castle, inside its walls are numerous little houses which are still inhabited, although the satellite dishes were rather incongruous! After all this exercise it was time for a cocktail followed by a spot of shopping before eventually heading back to L’Escala.

Tossa de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands nanofino... br>
As if the Dali Museum wasn't cool enough, the next stop was two little villages on the Mediterranean coast called Portlligat and Cadaques. Dali lived in Portlligat and his house has since been turned into a museum, complete with big eggs on the roof (Dali was big on big eggs-they were all over the place at the Dali Museum). We drove up this tiny mountain road (which was interesting in a really big bus...) and as we were going over a hill, the ...

Full concrete factory inside the church and spending around 1 million euro per month on construction (but bringing in 50M Euro pa from tourists)

Sitting on the balcony now having caviar, beer and cheese with my sister and wife....does not get much better than this for our annivesary!!!
Tossa de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands buckgwI take a bus to Tossa de Mar, a small beach resort on the way to France. It is along the Costa Brava where the hills meet the coast making for some dramatic landscape. My thought was to use a luggage check, explore the town. I have a reservation for a hostel in Girona for the evening so I have to catch the 5:00 bus. Well, apparently much of Western Europe lacks baggage lockers. I go to a hotel and they refuse to take it for the day (even for ...
Girona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands will.traveller... with looks and personality) it failed. We tried our luck with the next group of people who happened to be all boys. Finally we had some friends. We united this group of boys with the group of girls we attempted to meet and made a super party with alcohol, shesha, sunset. However, the party was short lived because the girls were ugly.
Santa Susanna, Catalonia, Spain chris_jones01... I drank Orxata(don't worry! It's juice!), and for dessert I had Crema Catalana. After dinner, we went to see La Sagrada Familia. Here's some history: The Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família (official Catalan name; Spanish: Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia; "Expiatory Temple of the Holy Family"), often simply called ...
