... Queen Elizabeth cruise liner birthed at the wharf.with 2200 passengers. Quite a site to see!!!
There were some impressive markets on not far from the wharf. There were some numerous amounts of cheese and olives, tapenades, jams, chutneys ....the works.!!! These French people love their cheeses and olives.
Lunch was scrumptious as usual with leek quiche, grilled cod, and mushroom ...

... open sea! Consuming all our water as well as purchasing more drinks, we decided to retreat to the air conditioned comfort of our home away from home and have a late lunch. Then washing , packing and preparing for the evening ahead. Our last night on board:( At 4:00pm we met with the 'new friends' Mary and Jim over afternoon tea. At 6:30 we went to a 'show' featuring comedian Craig Carmean. And then at 7:30 we went to dine ...

... scones with jam and clotted cream. This is ridiculous! Then onto poolside for a light operatic concert with the onboard group of young singers. This was a highlight of the day for me! So far! Next - dinner, and then Showtime with Toni Warne. She has a great voice and presentation, singing all types of music and tonight featuring Barbra Streisand. What a wonderful day ...
