A travel blog entry by jaschoy on Aug 10, 2014

We found a book about the teachings of Buddha in our manchester hotel room. This occupied most of our evening. This morning we went to McDonalds to book our bnb for Barcelona. We had a seriously *************necting to the wifi there and a lady who worked their spent her time trying to help us connect. When we eventually gave up frustrated, we insisted it was ok. It was not ok... She replied with, "no it's not ok... I'll get a manager". Her dedication to helping us, was a really special ...

... it was raining heavily and we headed to Bolton Abbey (aka ruins), but it was pouring by the time we got there, so we kept on going. We got back to the cottage & passed out. At 8 we had "last meal" and the girls had baths and are in bed. It's 10:50 at night & the plan is set for tomorrow. We don't have wifi int the cottages, but we'll be n Skipton in the morning so I'll be posting this then. It'll be Market Day & we have a castle to storm! From Maddie's Travel ...

Many pics on the camera. When we got to the cottage, we were exhausted. Moved into our respective cottages & had cocktails overlooking Malham Cove. Kids played in the great big backyard & we had spaghetti. Long day & fun cousin play time. From Maddie's Travel ...

For those of you who followed Roger and me on our aborted cycle-camping trip in France this summer - you'll be really glad to know that Roger is doing as well as can be expected, but the doctor has told him that it will be 4-6 weeks re-cooperation time.
My bike is not too well at the moment - just as Roger became ill in France the cable to my ...

Well, when on a travelling holiday, one has to make the most of rainy days ... so we started off with bucketing rain as we took a wander around Stratford-Upon-Avon. Now, Barb has been here when the sun is shining, and it is a COMPLETELY different place to what we experience today. Beyond this, the long weekend has kicked in and bus loads of Italian, Japanese ...
