... best part was when one gentleman cut open the sausage package with nail clippers and the sawed it in half with his credit card. It took a lot of tongue biting to not laugh out loud!]

That afternoon we made it Tirana, Albania and was met by the director, a lovely mother of two and great friend! We sped (literally) and weaved our way through crazy traffic to The Stephen Center (totally legit place. Look it up!) and got settled ...

I meet the sister on reception who is attending the english meetings and Ilir who has been arranging my talk for tomorrow. I am then able to have a tour in English. Donkeys on the roads, pot holes everywhere, single lane highways linking the countries etc - it's a real surprise and one that we won't forget. We are only staying here 1 night. This is very obviously a ...

... got stuck in a rain storm and ended up sheltering with a drink at a somewhat deserted beach bar that the locals opened for us!
Whilst we were there we noticed a cow on the beach. Fair to say that was a bit weird! On the way home we saw 2 more cows on the road eating rubbish. Unfortunately rubbish is everywhere in Albania, including on the beaches. Again there were also heaps of unfinished buildings around. We headed back to the hostel and picked up our bags ...
