Some fun facts of Albania as we drive through the countryside: 1. It may be a developing country, but Albania has the highest concentration of Mercedes Benz in the world. Interesting hey.... Why you ask? Because Albania is the place to go to sell your stolen mercs from the rest of europe. Nice hey. Oh and becuase it's the ...

We walked around for 10 mins or so where we were shown an old bunker in town, part of the Berlin Wall & the palace where the old president lived (it looked like slum). He came on the bus with us & us about sites while Costa was driving. I was so tired that I fell asleep & Jodie woke me shun we got to the Hotel. As we only had day packs we didn't need to take our luggage to our rooms, thankfully as it ...

    ... 2,170 leke ($20.47).

We had ice cream for dessert during our walk back to the hotel. Three small scoops in a cone cost only 100 leke (94 cents). At the hotel, I paid our bill since we are leaving early tomorrow morning for Pristina, Kosovo, and I don’t want to deal with that before the crack of dawn.

Hotel room at 9:46. Bed prep and pack. Bed at 11:21. We’ve had a good three days in Albania. On to Kosovo tomorrow, the world’s second-youngest independent ...
