... at 7pm by Agne´s and Alain Bouffard. They are the aunt and uncle of my friend in Cazenovia. They had stayed with me in August while in the US for a large family reunion. We were invited to their home for dinner and were driven through the streets of Paris, a wild ride I might add. We had a lovely evening and with my limited French and Agne´s better English, we muddled through the evening. They are a delightful couple.

Paris, Île-de-France, France premiertravel... but why didn't you get your bag?" I had to just stop a minute and not go into sarcastic-ville. The French don't like that you know. They like to help, so I went into helpless tourist mode, "I got lost." "Oh!" She said as if that wasn't already obvious...I do believe I had already explained that. So of course she would take me to the baggage area so I could get my bag. The Girl had to wait outside the locked doors because she would only take one of us in. <br ...
Paris, Île-de-France, France kitkatgo... warned me that only 1 in 8 trains would be running and that would mean a service only once an hour. I told him that I knew and it wasn't a problem but he didn't seem to get it. Eventually he just sold us the tickets and we took the Metro to our change station (Chatelet-Les Halles) as the strike was not affecting those services too much, compared to the RER. At Chatelet we prepared for the worst, scoping out food and drink vendors so that we could kill time with food if ...

We then walked some markets went to the Pantheon and had a wonderful dinner before we headed to the Moulin Rouge a see a show. The show was sooo worth going to and would highly recommend going to see a show. It was better than any of us expected we really enjoyed it. We had a great flight back and just make sure that you buy a ticket for the train back to the airport.
Paris, Île-de-France, France dkjohansen... around here. Then back to the hotel to pack. I get lucky on the hotel; I do not have to check out until 3:30. Which is good, because my flight does not leave until 8 tonight. I know the airport is at least an hour or hour and a half away. It is the Paris Beauvais airport, which is about 50 miles NW of Paris. There is a shuttle you can take for 13 euro. I decide to leave for the airport early, especially after what happen in London. I really do not want to have to pay for another ...
Paris, France padalecki... there. We made the 35 min metro ride back into town and passed out from exhaustion in our less than classy hostel. The next day was devoted to the palace of Versailles. We took a quick little train out to it that was still in the boundaries of the Paris metro, in fact it was closer then Eurodisney. The weather still had not let up, so it was raining almost the entire time we were there. We took and audio guided tour through the palace, which was very extensive. We were able to see ...
Paris, France tmcclurg... me the other time and he openend his mouth to bite me, twice. That night we went to Cabaret for Sara's Birthday. Wonderful! The lead actress had an amazing voice and the narrator was absolutely fabulous! The entire thing was in French but I understood most of it. The locale was cool too, with table seating and overpriced drinks and crackers. I went with Eddie, Sara, Sara's friend, and Laurie, and a guy snuck us up closer as we were in the last row, past the bar.
Paris, France my_backpack... at 3 Euros, but it was a much bigger portion than I had yesterday at Berthillon. Mascarpone (similar in flavour to Ricotta gelato) - excellent! Balsamic vinegar - unique, but not so good. I only wanted to try something new. It was raining and I had forgotten my umbrella - I didn't want to risk rain water diluting the gelato's flavour, so I ate it underneath an awning. I hurriedly walked back to the hostel (to get out of the rain) and was off to bed.
Paris, France pwongOver the Channel i go with Lucy, it is her 21st Birthday so we are going to Paris. The City is amazing especiially at night. Spent time sightseeing taken in all the classic sights, of which my favourite has to be the walk up the Champs-Elyses by night towards the impressive Arc De Triumph with the Eiffel Tower lit up also in sight, pretty nice walk to say the least! As well as the sights spent a day at Disneyland with the 'Big Mouse' Legend!
