Passage!

So there we have it - the ferry is booked! I will be taking the 'King of Scandanavia' out of the country at 1700 on the 5th December. The Changeover

An early start from London and back in Crewe by 9.15, shortly thereafter I had the slightly surreal experience of helping someone move into my flat. Many hands made light work and we had all of the stuff moved into the flat within 30 minutes.

After a fantastic lunch I went back and removed the very last of the stuff, including the bike and the backpack; and now I am staying at Steve's ...

The Taft to Stone and the Precious Stone mission

... We had a meal with them in the Thai restaurant. Fri 18th September At our morning prayer meeting we had Ian and Jan James, plus Colin and Lorraine Brown, in addition to the team. We are also joined almost every morning by Rev Ian Cardinal from St Michaels and his curate Sally. James gave his testimony at a coffee morning, and we sang "Father's Love". Then we went to the town square and sang folk songs for two hours, with Roger and Mirjana playing their melodeons. We had a ...

Pre- departure: 3weeks and counting!

... I can relax as far as that's concerned. Thanks to everyone who's bought a 'Who Am I' quiz, I'll draw the winner on March 1st. If anyone's ever looking for a quick way to make money, I'd highly recommend it- I'm getting cheques in the post daily from long- lost relatives and random colleagues/ friends of friends! It's such a nice position to be in because I'll be able to do pretty much whatever I fancy (within reason!), without worrying I'll be stranded ...
