... on to Slovenia pretty quickly. And it was a great decision as we snaked our way through the mountains, the van coping admirably, with a new stunning vista around each corner. We headed to Bled and a campsite on the lake, but an avalanche of tourists for the Bled festival meant that it was completely full. Ah, what a time it was - we were all set with a lovely apartment overlooking a beautiful valley, surrounded by snow mountains and a view of Lake Millstatt. We woke this morning to discover that it had rained in the night and that we had had some water come in one of the windows and the cushions of the seats were pretty wet so not a great start.
