Todat we had breakfast at 8am and following breakfast we had a guided walking tour of Passau.

Today we were headed towards Nuremberg but it was too early to stop and also today it was decided that we would pick Anton and Jane up in Dubrovnik in Croatia on the 10 August which gives us nine days to get there. Yes, our Captain has skilfully got the ship through to Passau. One ship was stranded along the ...

Arrived at Linz today which is the third largest city in Austria. Population 200,000, and is home Austria's largest steel company. From here we travel in the historic Majestic Emperor train to Salsberg. The train is very ornate and gives you an idea of what it was like to travel in style so many years ago. We had a coach trip around the city and then a walking tour followed by 2 hours free time. We had ...

0 km, (1045km total) 12-17deg, cloudy with the odd bit of drizzle, glimpses of the sun. The last time Greg was here was 2009 on the way from Amsterdam to Vienna with his cycling buddy Graham W. It's much busier now with a lot more people and traffic, both on the river and the roads. Lucky for us we have bike paths, but today we are on foot. Mick's phone started having issues yesterday so it was off to the phone ...
