    ... railway line (more like a cliff, no wonder there were no connecting roads to get to it easily). There were a number of unexpected climbs that we had to push up as well as undulations that we can now manage.

    ... headwind (when we left Lossnig the sign said 5km to Strehla, and when we turned 2.5km later the next sign said 4.1km to Strehla - obviously some non-linear metric in use here). When we reached the turnoff for the campsite, after more cobbles, we had a 500m push up a very steep hill that was not marked on the map.     ... but not so good for our direction with some long stretches without clear signs (looking backwards for signs the other way often helps). Such was the case on the way to Repitz, some guesswork was required. After getting a bit lost looking for the campsite (Sammy saved us, yet again) we rolled in at 11:30 and were all set up and enjoying a second cup of coffee (in the sunshine) by noon.     ... where there is a hunting castle built in 1542, you are able to take a horse drawn carriage around the lake if you like. Then for our last stop Dresden - which was bombed at the end of WWII & under communist rule until 1989. The Christmas markets were good & very busy. It was a lovely day & most unexpected.
