    ... bikes upstream towards Dresden. I thought you might be interested in some data obtained from Sue's Fitbit. It tells us that so far on this trip we have walked 660km and biked 730km. On most days we leave our accommodation about 9.00am and don't get in till around 4.00pm, with most of the time between walking. We have agreed to call one of our Berlin days an official rest day.     The bad about the day: an Umleitung in the beginning of Riesa that detoured in and over the main traffic bridge and the Hafen rather than the field path and footbridge; the radweg was now re-routed along the Riesa hauptstrasse (high street) rather than dropping back to the river after a small obstruction. This took us 1.5km along a busy shopping street to eventually bring us back to the river path having gained a net distance of 300m! The planned hotel in Meissen was up a very steep hill ...

    ... him. It was a good place for him to be with Garth - major beer places, schnitzels ..... And I had another birthday while in Dresden - almost retirement age! Yay!! Also my nephew is doing well, and although he has some bad days, on the whole he is heading in the right direction.
