... the course of a few hours on Friday morning the whole town was transformed into the snow village we had imagine. We played in it like kids, having snow ball fights, stomping in the high piles, holding our hands out to see how many snow flakes we could catch and attempting to make a snowman. It was magical to

... pros and were not used at all in our lesson - don't bother hiring them on day one.

From here our ski school are took us and the rest of the people in our group up to the gondola, which took us up to the school's base and beginner slope on nordkette mountain.

We had an hour to kill, so Dan taught himself to ski while I made a dick of myself and decide to sit on the sideline and wait for the instructor.

... and many of the attractions are low priced at around €4. I would only recommend the Innsbruck card if you are going to be in Innsbruck for 72 hours or if you want to see the more highly-priced attractions such as the Ski Jump and the Imperial Palace.

There is a lot to see in Innsbruck, but it is also a beautiful city which you can wander around for hours. It's a truly magical place with many hidden wonders and a real charm about it. Well worth a visit!
