Last night we were treated to an awesome light show and amazing thunder concert hosted by Mother Nature. Our hostel is the top third floor attic area of a Swiss house so the windows open up on a pivot. This allows us to stick our heads out the windows because of the low slope ceiling (no Keenan doesn't fit in the shower here). We are in the hills of the Alps and enduring the last of the heat wave. Today's high of 97 feels like 107. Good news, a storm comes in tonight dropping tomorrow's high to 68, a 29 degree drop, with some rain showers. So we found our hostel, the third floor of a cute Swiss chalet, but no AC. I'm on the way home now. All the adventures are over. After the last scary one that’s probably a very good thing. This morning I left Cortina my home of a week to drive the two hours to Venice to drop off the car and catch a train via Verona to Innsbruck, Austria.
