Shhh we are in Austria. The loudest noise is the cuckoo birds (that don't go on the hour by the way). Austrians are so well behaved and well mannered. The drivers are considerate, stop for pedestrians, never speed, pull over if there is not enough room. Unlike the Italian where it is a competition for who has the biggest vehicle or balls! Every square cm is so organized, even men, the men wearing their leather pants and funny little hats are immaculate.

... for Sunday, we started walking, luckily one of the couples that walked up to the caves and bumped into while walking to five fingers took pity on us and picked us up and drove us to the bottom. Relief! We had a short walk to the restaurant we have been having dinner, the only one if you don't have a car, thank goodness the food was great. The waitress has got to know us and gave us free schnapps as she did last night, then it was a walk back to our hotel. An interesting ...

It had two sets of paintings on the outside ( very noticeable when approaching the town from the ferry). Inside it had two very ornate alter pieces, lovely stain glass, some very old paintings just below the organ and on some seats near the alter. What makes this church special is the 'charnel house'. Since the 12th century they have ...

Hotel Haus Am See: A cloudy day but no rain as yet. We walked to Stubentor U 3, to catch the train at westbanhof. It was so quiet only a few got on the metro but the train was full but not crowed. Six stops later we arrived at the very new station. Lots of shops, easy directions to follow. We went to the OBB first class lounge to wait for the IC 548 to Salzburg, the lounge was new, a pleasant helpful front desk person, a wide variety of refreshments and nibbles, plenty ...

... I'd visited. I was no longer a stranger to the Austrian woods and waters, we had been acquainted. It was probably a better experience for me than it was for the Austrian nature, because she had heard me sing and saw me dance to awful awful music e.g. Justine Bieber. Shhhhh...what happened in the Austrian woods stayed in the woods.

I woke up this morning feeling rested but very lazy. I had to visit one more lake according ...
