    ... room on the internet, assuming that shower meant bathroom. Not so. It meant a shower enclosure in the bedroom, the toilet being across the hall,and shared with another room. Not what we were expecting. No spare rooms that night, but able to "upgrade" for the following night.

    Dumped the bags and off to Marienplatz. Very pleasant wandering around central Munich. Had Indian for dinner....just because we could.

    ... like that on it. It would at least be a safer place then where I was at that moment. Pushing the bike about 500 meters is not easy. At least the rain kept me cool; I just hoped that no one would crash into me before I reached the safety of the parking bay. At arrival I saw a recue phone but...was out of order.
