... what Dachau Concentration Camp truly has to share with the world, underneath its dominant image as a place of pain and suffering. And while I simply cannot explain fully how this second trip has internally affected me, or affected my perceptions and understanding of the Holocaust, I firmly believe that those changes emerged as a direct result of standing on the camp grounds, and seeing it in person. I encourage you all to visit Dachau someday as well.
