They had some more live music playing with a brass band, accompanied by male & female dancers doing thigh-slapping and spinning respectively, plus drunk-singing with gusto from the audience ... it doesn't get more Bavarian than this!

Back home on the train to avoid the rain as much as possible.

He was head to understand, all we heard was Oktoberfest so we said yes. We didn't know which way the tents were from the station so we followed the people in costume. Oktoberfest looks like exhibition cross with mosaic. There were tons of rides ...

Oktoberfest and my old work

A travel blog entry by reiseems on Sep 19, 2014

... had lived in, just the apartment right next door. We went to the "Wiesn", as the Bavarians call it, on Sunday. Wonderful weather, and not too crowded yet. My plan to go at least once to get hammered didn't quite work out. When we went the week after, we left the house waaay to late and it was impossible to get into any tent. So we left again pretty soon. It wasn't that important after all. Also, I got to see my old work place again, with almost all the people ...
