Today we set out reasonably early for a trip to Murano (glass making island) and Burano (island further out in the lagoon noted for brightly coloured houses and lace making. ... drinks and snacks back at our apartment. At 6.30pm we met Megan, Dwaine and Jake at the Rialto Bridge for Paul's birthday dinner. We found a lovely restaurant beside the Grand Canal and indulged in delicious Italian food, beer, Bellini and desserts.
