... Of the body of about 300 people at this church, give or take, there are a good amount of Africans that attend and about 10 more that showed up today. Apparently, I'm the only black person there that isn't from Africa, so when it came my turn, the introduction situation was quite comical for me and Phil. All in all, it's comforting to know that somewhere in the city, there is group of people I can worship with, and just get some general support and advice when I need it.

I have now finished my first week
of classes here and let me tell you, learning Chinese in China is quite the
experience. I’m taking Intensive reading, Extensive reading, Conversation, and
Listening classes. As I said in the last post, the whole time leading up to
