... Market. We bought our own dinner there and played arcade games. Lots of students won stuffed animals and will bring them home! We are now at the Fullon Hotel where we'll be for two nights; the biggest disappointment is that there is NO wi-fi here! :( Tomorrow we will remain in Taipei.

... The food itself was expensive but tasted pretty ok.

故宫博物院 ;After topping off with some ****** food, we headed to the National Palace Museum. The place is swarming with tourists, mostly from China. It houses the major artifacts that were rescued (or stolen, depending on your political leanings) by the Kuomintang during their escape from China in the civil war. Cool stuffs but kind of alright I guess.

Woke up early today at 7am because we got a long day ahead of us. First thing in the morning we head over to 南港 train station to take the 8:35 train over to Ruifang.

... was given very pleasant lines and features. And, even though Taiwan is a Buddhist country, they don’t miss a chance to decorate with lights and tensile…and they took full advantage of the Christmas theme for that purpose. The truth is that even though we initially had planned to visit the Chaing Kai Chek and National Museums we ended up spending the whole day exploring this building. Gretchen and Jenny needed to be back to their dorm prior to the company’s curfew.
