... Ferrata complete with ladders, chimneys, traverse, slabs and crevasse sections. Ellie was great and put her gymnastic moves to good use in some full stretches. Renato helped support Ellie up some of the vertical bits that required some upper body strength, but otherwise Ellie did the whole thing and loved it! An hour later the awning was complete with fairy lights, table - with table cloth, candles etc. We then sat very proudly in the awning as the sun set and people walked by and admired our lighting- thanks Kala! ... turning round as he said there was no way his scooter would make it up the hill with two of them on. While we were talking another Car and Caravan came into the rest area with both Caravan Wheels absolutely pouring smoke!! They looked really worried and started making phone calls, I was very glad it hadn't been us. ... at the top we saw that the walking tracks zig zagged the train tracks through the countryside and many walkers were using the train to break or extend their routes. In hindsight a train ticket would have added even more to the day. There are 2 further cable cars that travel up to 2260m, which would be great to explore, but we begin cycling ...

... br> We are discovering that the farther we get out of the main city, the less they speak English. We had dinner here at the hotel and no one spoke any English. She explained as best she could and we just pointed at the words and waited for our meal. All I can say is that we were the only ones in the resturaunt that ended up with the vegetarian meal.
