... not even the huge mountains. It's was quite cold although the walk up here had warmed us up quite a bit. As we waited and waited it appeared the mist wasn't going anywhere and slowly people started to leave. We decided to wait a little bit as sunrise was 6 and it was still a few minutes to go. Just when we thought we may as well go, the mist lifted, the mountains appeared and the sky lit up. It was quite magical ...

... br> We arrived in Huangshan city in pouring rain, but we hoped it might clear up during the day. So we found the buses to the cable car station (there's two) and of course paid a lot for buses and entry to the park. There are several ways up; 2 cable cars, the eastern steps (short and hard) and the western steps (longer and harder). We decided to hike up the eastern steps which takes around two hours. Don't be fooled, it sounds easy (it's just ...

... I actually have a plane ticket for tomorrow morning. (I do. I think.) In the evening, I went for a walk to People's Square via Nanjing Road and had some more delicious fried dumplings for $1. SO GOOD. Had a nice leisurely walk and then took the metro back to the Bund for a last look at Pudong at night. Then I went back to the lace next to my hostel for an hour long foot massage and headed back to my room. Phew. All caught up on the blog now. As I said, I took an insane amount of pictures ...
