... and steps and viewing platforms. But all we saw was a wall of white thick fog. We saw absolutely nothing of the view the whole day. After lunch (very expensive!) and finding our hostel (even more expensive considering the dorms were just rooms with bunk beds IN the cable car station!) we took a walk around the peaks. Every once in a while we saw some contours of the cliffs we were standing on or some close peaks.

... sold for the "soft seat" cars and there was also plenty of leg room and even a couple shared power outlets. ... Our hotel just opened two weeks ago, and is an hour from the city in a nicely renovated older building, which survived the Cultural Revolution due to its remote location away from town. It was formerly used as a canola oil factory, and the old oil press is proudly displayed in the dining room area. They have done a great job renovating everything, it is beautifully done.
As we arrive at our hotel, we are serenaded by the locals, with drums, cymbals ...
