Stopped for lunch at a Norwegian Burger place in Otta where there is a lovely statue of a young lady that warned the Norwegians that the Scots were on their way to invade. I'll have to do some research and add a bit of detail here. Pictures to follow
The following details are a compilation of some H2O experiences. The chronological order jumps around a bit… but it gives the highlights of some of our activities.
Our first exciting venture was to hike to our 1st glacier… one of the arms of Folgafonna Glacier which was yet another attempt of my darling husband to 'off me' via physical exertion. Merely a 3hr trek this time however ...
... our famous river. This time Hilde choose the difficult cross-over, i simply took out the shoes and walked through the water - good refreshment for the feet.
In exactly 7 hours we made the walk.
Tired but happy we did it we returned back to the home to start repacking for the last few days.
From here we leave the Norwegian nature for what it is and go back to the big city Oslo, before we return home by boat and car.
... wooden church).. The one in Lom is one the oldest with the first part dating back to 1066 and is still in good shape but been restored many times. It used to be originally a catholic church but over time became a reformed church. Doesn't matter. It looks very special and unsafe with all the wood.

... the room. The soup was excellent though and we still had some Cava for the evening from our tax-free trip from Denmark to Norway – unfortunately the car wine cellar is empty now. Back at our home, we had a good bottle of bubbles with some cheese and salami produced at the farm where we eat. It was excellent.
Ready for another 30 years….
