Today is November 1. We left home in September and won't be home until December. So far everything has been great. This morning we docked at Penang, Malaysia. Our second day consisted of visiting the national park and walking a few kilometres through the jungle to a beach. The track was often challenging and we saw plenty of wildlife including monkeys, lizards (4-6ft long), snakes and once we got to the beach dozens of hermit crabs so it made for an interesting walk. Our return journey was much faster as we opted for a lift back to the start from a local by jet ski which was great fun!
We have arrived at last! It is bliss to be experiencing warm weather and sunshine. The weather for the last couple of days has been a little overcast but it is still warm. It was great to arrive at the apartment and experience the continued familiarity that we experience each year.Our hosts Jamie and Susie welcomed us with open arms and once again everything was in place ready to pick up where we left off. It is too soon for either Tony or me to question why we are doing this or to feel homesick. We are just so happy to be able to actualize what we planned for, to actually live this life and not just watch it slide by.

Penang is an island in Malaysia. I went to an awesome place caled escape. It is a supper cool adventure park.
