    The eagle had landed

It is 5:38 pm Italy time... how do I know this???... because our plane has actually landed in Italy. It's a miracle!!! The drive from our hotel is 40 minutes. What is left is interesting however, and one of the iconic things to see is the golden roof on a building in the central area. On our way to Amsterdam, but before leaving Germany we stopped at the Rhine falls. From here on the Rhine is navigable. The falls are very picturesque, and although not one of the largest falls we have seen ...

After a great nights sleep and a fabulous breakfast, we walked down to the boat for a cruise along the Rhine. The local goats cheese and 4 types of sausages went down well.

We cruised along the river stopping to pick up passengers at various places. We couldn't believe how busy it was, glad we got on at the start of the trip as it was getting very crowded on the top deck.

There were so many castles along the way and great scenery- went passed ...
