... to a lady from the good old USA and after all the excitement she invited me to join her and her husband and friends for dinner.

18h30 and it was time for dinner and a wonderful one at that. Unlike most of my other wonderful adventures around the world I normally head home looking like a stick insect but on this trip it looks like its going to be the opposite as I seem to have eaten extremely well during this adventure.

entered the retaining nut and - success!
Load up and away we go from a fine hotel made exotic by the presence of a very cheerful Spanish waitress who had only been in the country for 7 days. That won't last.

... Syd ran up the length of the train in his socks (the shoes were also inside the room) to get the conductor to hopefully open the room (only 30 minutes remained of the trip). Hint to train travellers: don't go between carriages in your socks as the footplates are very wet and dirty. ... I calmed down a lot though when we started cooking, that took up quite some time and then it didn’t seem like so long to have to wait anymore.
