... night we decide to stay put for another day as winds still too strong. A good time to do some laundry and bit of boat maintenance. An interesting little town with historical fort but most things closed as to early in season. Scott decides he wants to get BBQ out for dinner so a supermarket dash to re provision and buy some meat! Early start tomorrow as hoping to get through the Messina straights and to the North of ...

Now I am having withdrawals and sadness, missing my characters, having been attached to them for ...

The town is very derelict, seeming like a dead shell of what is, was or could have been. There is just nothing here that interested any of us. We picked up a couple of things for Milena, walked along the "Lunga Mare" ( street along the water's edge ), and quickly headed back to Milena. We stopped off at the Kroton Yacht office on the way back. Checking on the ...

... on the port side (low side) of the cockpit. At one point Marina, who was at the helm, said: " golly... I truly feel as if I am in a washing machine..." I would have to agree, and we were stuck for almost 12 hours, in the rinse cycle. At one point, when we could see land again... I was studying the shore line, and for some extraordinary reason we were advancing 2 steps, and being pushed back 6. The shoreline seemed to be getting further away. "Marina ?" I asked. "Are we making ...
