... the whole of this beautiful architect designed house with grand views, all to ourselves! Dinner last night was lovely with 4 very interesting and tasty courses. Washed down with a bottle of local red wine!

... the boat was crashing about. Aggie rustled up a lovely meal very quickly, and then we all had a siesta ! The town us quite busy with Italians on holiday and it has some great places to buy fresh fish, which we will do before we leave tomorrow. We are all looking forward to a good nights sleep with the boat keeping still ! 70 miles ...
... the strait that separates Italy from Sicily, the Strait of Messina and that was very picturesque. Lots to see on both sides through the binoculars. Had an Asian style buffet lunch, coffee and dessert downstairs, a nana nap and more swimming. The girls, Lance and Michelle went for a workout at the gym. We had a formal night for dinner and then off to the theatre to see Sir Elton John aka Neil Lockwood. Great end to a lovely cruisy ...
A 4am start and no wind but flat seas. We tried to sail but not enough wind. We motor on making good way and weather seems all good so decide to miss out going to Crotone and head straight for Sicilly another 120 miles as everyone up for another night sail. Boys have a sleep and Sal and Alison take watch, it's so calm Alison even does her gym session in the cockpit. About 5pm things change...... winds get up, seas get lumpy ...
