I went on a little stroll along the lake with some other students, and we wandered through our neighborhood, seeing if we could get back on our own. Turns out she grew up in London although born in Germany so she had a very cool accent herself! We exchanged emails and plan on keeping in touch. She has never been to California and hopes to visit someday.
