    After long chats last night we decide to head out today, do a bit of sightseeing and give the bikes a gentle go beside the Rhone-Sete canal. Off to tower that we saw from the boat. It stands on a causeway and was an outpost for Aigues-Mortes. Anyone approaching from the landward side would have to use this causeway to cross the marshes, dead waters hence Aigues-Mortes.
