... an appetite and so we met Jean-Luc and Ambre at a Pizza restaurant in the Champs Elysees. There, we also met Jean-Luc's girlfriend, Sophie and her three kids. It was a really nice lunch, though the pizzas were shaped really oddly. They also weren't cut so it made for interesting eating. After lunch, we said good-bye to Sophie and we made our way to the Sacre Coeur Church. It was pretty far away, but it was certainly worth the drive. As we went inside, we were greeted with ...

... there was a line stretching for a hundred yards and it just wasn't that important. A street performer was scaring tourists. It had to be the cheapest costume I've ever seen on a street performer. He had on regular clothes and a scary Halloween mask, the thin rubber kind that looks like a mass murderer. He'd hide behind a wall or keep his head down and then scare people as they passed by. It might not sound all that funny but it was very enjoyable, especially for the children ...

Chris is having a good time walking the streets and drinking coffee and beer at the outside cafes. But he does not ...

... in the Intermediate level---yay for me! My classes are Monday-Friday 11am-1pm....and that's it! I love it :) There will be some other lectures and phonetics courses throughout the semester but its a very light load overall. I had the second day of classes today, and did a little grocery shopping afterwards. Overall, I am soooo excited to be here and looking forward to a lot of exciting things to come on my little European adventure :)

Je vais demander à Pierre de regarder à ça, mais si le problème persiste, je vais demander à Yétoundé de m'appeler le technicien qui a fait la job pour qu'il revienne arranger ça. We were not the only ones that did it, several people were doing the same thing as us. We got back to the station and followed the signs to catch the right train. We got on and after a stop we realized ...

... sights, Tour Effiel, Champs Elisee, Nortre Dame on my first day. I spent two mornings basking in the warmth and space of art galleries. Melissa, whom had spent last semester in Paris with the University of Guelph, and was also my inspiration for applying to the Krakow semester abroad, had graciously given me a list of things to see in her Paris. And I will agree with her, The Musee D'Orsay was wonderful. I spent ...
