We then were faced with the challenge of finding our way back to the Grom - the gelato shop we saw on our tour, and the Italian Grocer we wanted to visit to try pannaforte. This ended up a bit more difficult than anticipated as we found that just one wrong turn can send you way away from where you think you want to ...

Apologies for bombarding you with blog notifications, but it's been so long since I had a reliable Wi-Fi connection I thought I'd best take advantage of it while I can. Back on the Bus and a drive to Orvieto, a medieval hill top ...

We we got up it was very misty outside and as we left the villa for the last time, it was raining. We drove back to Florence and dropped our rental car off, having driven approximately 640kms in the past week, on top of all the train travel we had done. We got a taxi back to the train station and left our luggage there to be looked after while we went for one last walk around the ...

... and it was the best coffee.. Leaving the coffee shop we came upon a market being set up and strolled around for an hour. Deciding that now was a civilised hour to taste wine, headed back in our chariot to the cellar doors. Where by luck rather than good management we came across a small vineyard on the top of a hill which at first we thought may have been closed, but on peering through the door were greeted by a young lady whom was startled to see us at this ...
