WOW! That was one breath taking view! I was still sitting in the airplane, opened my window blind to see if there is any land yet and WOW! At least a dozen little turquoise atolls in the middle of deep blue ocean. A couple islands with little houses and palm trees on it and called paradise!

... another night dive that was great as well. We saw lots of eels that come out to feed, white tipped reef sharks, and big jack fish. I think one of the jack fish nibbled at my hair! We had a visit to an island to do some shopping and check out how some of the people live. It was quite interesting. Many people live very simply and depend on the sea for the majority of their food. We also had a bbq one night on a tiny island. The sand was like baby powder. ...

... dhoni is roughly a 50 foot wooden boat built in the traditional Maldivian style. The bow of the main deck has low, canvas chairs under an awning and open space for sunning. The galley is enclosed and there's a covered large table in the stern. The 4 cabins with bunk beds and a small bathroom can be reached down a short stairway through the galley.
