the southern end of the lake but were a bit disappointed at how commercialised it was. We drove to the Best Western Station Hill Inn where we were staying the night. It seemed a little tired but actually the rooms are quite nice and big so fine for one night. We didn't need to unpack so went for a walk down to the part of the lake nearby and sat on the beach watching a wedding party having photos taken in the ...

Up at 7:00am this morning for breakfast at Harrah's Tahoe. We ate at the American River Cafe. The Cafe was beautiful with a River running through it. But it was very expensive even for a casino cafe. I just had a cinnamon roll that was so thin I think if I held it up could see through it; Dave had oatmeal and the meal ran us over $16.00. I expect to pay a little more in a resort café, but this was way too much.
