    ... observed Pink Shirt Day and did anti-bullying activities at the different levels. That was neat since it started in NS. This week is Book Week with activities each day. Tim’s voice is one of the secret sound bites reading a Dr. Zeus extract that the kids have to guess. And yes, besides all these extra activities, we’re still plodding through our curriculum which has to be mastered! The third progress report goes out this Friday.

    We have good WIFI in our room, but, as we learned, Facebook and anything Google is blocked in most of China. Also, Safari does not work. Natalie and I were able to buy a Chinese browser app, so we could use the internet, but Don wasn't able to because his phone is an android. We were planning to just get a taxi from the airport, but when we stepped out of the airport we saw some airport express buses. An agent directed us to the right one.
