... give enough room for pedestrians at times. I'm going to have to research who on earth had the crazy idea to build a city like this? S/He must have had a mixture of genius and madness with the percentage tipping towards madness. Sadly the city is slowly sinking and we saw some buildings where the 1st level (can't say ground level) has been flooded by water permanently. We had lunch in a square, overlooking a canal and an ...

The new umbrella has been our wisest investment decision since we married all those weeks ago.

... on this €78,000.00 chandelier, but sadly Rachel pointed out I hadn't won the lotto. Yet. We had another 2 hours, so we had some lunch and kept walking around. Obviously the main reason people come here is for a gondola ride, so that was next. We went all through the city and had quite a fun relaxing time. We then had another 2 hours which gave us more time for shopping. The next thing on the the list was masks as our whole group decided to get one each for our Mozart show ...
