... eat and the fizzy red again before heading to our favourite restaurant in St marks square With spirits high we went to S marks square which was reasonably busy and in the clear moonlit sky whilst quartets were playing famous tunes Donna and Rachel danced the tango - well until they fell in a heap in the middle of the square Slowly we made our way back along the grand canal in number 1b water ...

Loo rolls in the shape and volume of a grand piano was hard to take seriously as was block of concrete contain tape recording of a woman screaming playing in a loop - which of course you can't hear, which is apparently the 'art' - is she screaming if you can't hear it, bit like if a tree falls in a forest with no one to hear... ... between the cars. I told her that we had a nice toilet in our own car at the far end. It was one of those circular walled ones. You pushed a button and the wall slid open, when you got inside there were 2 buttons to push, one to shut the door and the second to lock the door. ... and the wonderful opportunity to see inside the different synagogues, each one built for a Jews from different regions, with different customs. You can leave the ghetto onto the second widest canal in Venice, then follow it round back onto the main thoroughfare between the Rialto and the station. I can honestly say I am worn out, so it off to find somewhere for dinner and then rest up before my last morning in Venice before setting off to Ravenna. Sleep well ...
