... spaghetti marinara (seafood) type dish, my dad had gnocchi which spicy salami and my sister had penne with a tomato sauce. These dishes were delicious. We then got second course which was meat, my sister and I ordered scaloppini and my dad ordered fish. I'm sorry to say but these dishes were horrible and we decided that we cooked much better food. The train took 2 1/2hrs and we arrived in maestro, close town on the mainland to Venice. We checked into the hostel, we some how ...

Venice Rules on April Fools

... here or pretty much anywhere else - so I had to sneak them in all day. The outside of the Basilica was probably the prettiest I've ever seen - covered in colorful marble and varied sculptures. Next to the Basilica is the Doge's Palace. It was pretty but wasn't as nice as any of the other palaces I've seen. It had a dungeon, but it just added gray and gloom to an underwhelming palace. As I said, it was pretty, it just wasn't as pretty as others. Gabriele wanted to read all of ...
