Wow. Our impression 23 years ago was completely different to our impression now. We love this place!
It was great to have a FaceTime chat to Teresa and see the 'babies' relaxed while Teresa and Reece were staying at our place pre-competition. Since then we found out the internet is free of charge - great, we thought. However since we came back from our first little jaunt today we have been unable to connect on any device. It just doesn't bring up ...

We finally boarded a little connector plane (so tiny) and headed to JFK. We landed and the plane was so small they unloaded us on the tarmac and we walked down a covered walkway into the terminal. Once away from this flowing coucourse though, you're on your own. I tried to be interested in the museum and churches Biggy V had to offer, but in truth the (winged) lion's share of my stay was spending hours just meandering the laneways, getting deliberately lost, ...

Goodbye Venice

A travel blog entry by bryan-chris on Jun 09, 2013

Writing this on the fast train between Venice and Florence, nearly chaos this morning as we booked an 8.30am train from Venice and I set the alarm for 7.00 but of course forgot to check the settings which were set for week days only, we woke at 7.50am and had to throw our things into the suitcases and run, just made it!
Venice was wonderful and we would recommend it as a great place to visit (but not ...
