... Zeppelin floating past again. Crossed the Swiss border into Austria and tried again unsuccessfully to get the toll GoBox fixed. The lady that told us about the Monastery, also told us about Füssen and the Castle which is apparently Walt Disney's inspiration for Cinderella's Castle, we thought we would go have a look....

We arrived at around 1pm, the place was packed, car parks were full etc. etc.

We got in the queue for tickets, and from our point there was a 40minute queue, and at that time the next available slots ...

... there was not a great deal to see.

We had a lot of people come to speak to us about the van, including some real life (to us) cowboys!

We left the site and visited Ottenbeuren on the way out, we had been told by a local to go see the Monastery, it was an impressive building - one of the largest in Germany... She also recommended some other places to visit but we will come to them next..

... Glenn was doing big panic about missing tour. Finally we got on a very cramped bus and made our way up to the castle. Hooray, they let us go on a later tour. It was lovely inside, although very dark. The castle was actually unfinished, a whole floor not fitted out, but what was there was magnificent. We ended up walking back down the mountain.
