Saturday was rain. Not much going on. Hit up subway district for food. Got soaked walking around. Wool slippers are not the best rain shoes as it turns out.

Asahi Brewery, Atsuta shrine, Sakae, and subaru
... the way by guidance from the ground. Her friend calls out the next holds by saying "sloper at 2:00, side crimper at 11:00", etc. Amazing. She took falls like a champ too.
Dinner was with Korean. Hot pots of various noodles, sauces, meats, and spices abound.

Day tripping through Inuyama
... that, we hiked through town again and finally made our way to the castle. Very worth the long walk. Inuyama castle is 1 of only 4 national treasure castles in Japan. Once you take your shoes off, you can ascent the sets of narrow, steep, and slick steps to the top of the castle. Visitors are greeted by sharp crisp winds and spectacular views at the top.

... work emails to go for a walk. I was given very vague directions to a grocery store. Sure enough I didn't find it. Instead, I found a *****in shrine and a night club called Ryu.
So tonight was a dinner at McDonalds chased with green tea ice cream and czech biiru (otaru bakusyu).

First day of work
Found my way back to work. Remembered my way around the plant and ate a terrific lunch at the cafeteria. Dinner though. That was ichiban mega tasty. Octopus in wasabi sauce, roasted squid, tuna sashimi, pizza, and much much more. Chased it all down with 1L of beer and a pink/purple glass of kyoho like the princess I am.
