... makes it almost impossible to throw out trash (there is a 4 page manual on how to throw out trash and you have to buy special bags that cost $25 francs for 5), but ensures that the public transportation and train system is amazing and always right on schedule - to the second.

Also, the entire country closes on Sunday, which isn't very good when you arrive on a Sunday with no food - let's say I was a little hangry to say the least, but ...

Day 283
3 hrs, 5 kms

It is a chilly night--but not unbearable. I wake up in the morning feeing quite proud of myself: I've managed to camp out high up Alps--and lived to tell the tale. I continue across the last cow pastures, towards the cozy little ski town of Stuben, which consists mainly just of hotels, restaurants and ski shops. I guess it relates to the culture of everybody following a strict code of rules. So when someone is doing something against the rules (like a pedestrian walking in a place that's meant for cars) people get really ...

1725. Hike to the Waterfall

... on up the trail, zigzagging back and forth, back and forth, until I finally reach a rocky area of semi-waterfalls, with the beautiful waterfall not too far above.

Close enough. Time for a videoclip. I pause to soak in the view, then head on back down the moutain. By the time I reach the town of Auberbraz again, I've lost several hours and climbed nearly a thousand meters just to see a waterfall close up.

Worth it, I'd say... but I won't be doing this too often, I don't ...
