    This morning we walked up to the Royal Gardens, through the streets of Cesky Krumlov and sat by the river Vltava to read.Brendan attempted to teach me how to skip rocks and the art of slow motion filming- both with varied success.     ... was a queue to get in but luckily the line moved quickly. The menu is limited so choices are minimal. We had their main offering. We sat at a table for 10, everyone shares a table here. The ramen dish was very tasty. I wouldn't say there was any ambience at this restaurant but this is common in regular Japanese restaurants.
    Early next morning we got the airport bus to Osaka airport. Our hotel was also very close to the airport bus stop.

    ... friends we met at a hostel in San Francisco 2 1/2 years ago (The Green Tortoise) on our first major trip - one lives in Munich and one in Berlin. They told us if we ever came to Europe we'd have a place to stay with them in Germany - a promise we really weren't sure we would ever take advantage of! Although we only spent 2-3 days with them in San Fran, we've kept in touch via Facebook and are very much looking forward to catching up with them and seeing their part of the world. Cheers! ...
