... magical views, hope the weather clears a bit so we can show you. 24.10.14 The weather cleared and we woke to fantastic views from our balcony, snow covered mountains. So we had a quick breakfast and made for the Alpensee which is a small crystal clear lake in Schwangau and got some great photos. Then we started our walk around the Alpensee, we could not go all the way around as there had been a blockage on the track during the bad weather due to either trees or land ...

Cheryl and I were up early in order to catch a cab to take us to Obertraun, which is the site of the Dachstein ice caves and 5 Fingers lookout. For some reason I have always wanted to visit an ice cave and Austria game me the perfect opportunity. There was fog on the lake when we got up at 7:00, but when you looked up all you could see was clear blue sky. It was going to be a spectacular day in Hallstatt.

We put on our warm clothes (ice caves reach zero degrees and we were ...

... just special to Ben's immediate family, he was special to every single person there.

Ben's tattoo to commemorate his grandpa sum's it up perfectly:

      "Ihr Erbe lebt weiter."
Translation being: Your legacy lives through.

I felt blessed to be apart of it, blessed to know new extended family and so very blessed to see my man so happy to be there.
