We drove to Madelana about 8 kilometers from Porto. As we got near Jessica decided that she was no longer going to be our sat nav floozie and left us in the lurch in a narrow cobbled street. A kind passerby volunteered to accompany us out of difficulty but there was no room in the car. Where upon a passing motorist stopped and offered to lead us to the camp site. ... getting to the place - one woman threatened to throw out her sat nav after taking the wrong turn numerous times. The rain continued and as the camp site only offered sites under oak trees we had a few very noisy nights with water dripping, acorns and oak apples falling on the caravan and a stream running underneath it we decided to move on.
