Fallsview Inn Niagara Falls

At last we think we have figured out this trip. We will leave Buffalo and head to Barcelona for a few days. Then we will get ourselves to London for our flight to Mumbai. After a short while in Mumbai we are heading south to Panaji, Old Goa and the coast where we will spend considerable time. About a month or so later it's back to London ...

Also the drive out of Buffalo was lengthy. Many roads were blocked off so I have to put in another route to head back to Newark which included unsealed roads to get to the highway. Cops everywhere too and they don't like anyone creeping over the limit here....unlike the experience on the CA and NV freeways a few days back. Once on the freeway we were set for another 6 hour drive back.

... drover all the way to Niagara falls. We hit so many tolls on the way up here that I now leave my wallet open waiting for the next one around the corner.
The best way a dual freeway (but not FREE) which was $5.90 at the end of it. The rest are like $1.00 or $1.75 to cross a bridge and a bit hard to swim with the car so we just paid them.

I was blessed to be able to drive to Niagara Falls from Buffalo, NY on November 18, 2009. It was a short drive and did not know what to really expect. I arrived, parked, got a map and walked. After doing most of the usual tourist things I jumped on a bus to head to Niagara-on-the-lake which I later found I didn't have a valid ticket, only though when i was about 20KM down the road and realised that the bus didnt even go to the correct destination, I managed to keep my head down and stay on for a full circle until I had to get off ...

If you visit the Niagara Falls and if you have time I recommand you to visit also the city Niagara-on-the-Lake which is very cute in summer.

It is not so far from the falls (about 20 km, 30 minutes by car or taxi - I took the taxi which is convenient but not too expensive).

... hotel room, we found we had an amazing view of the falls. There was at least an hour of just staring at the falls. Both Rob and I were just amazed at the view from our hotel room No matter what Ryan's dad says, I think the power they exude is just amazing! We had dinner that night at the hotel's roof top restaurant and ate great food and saw a wonderful and romantic fireworks display over the falls.
