... went back inside to watch the band that had just started. The food was as amazing as I had hoped it would be, and the adorable manager came out three different times to ask how everything was.

After we finished we headed back to the motel to turn on the fireplace and warm up a bit. The storm was now in the distance but we cuddled up in blankets and sat in the doorway catching the last few remnants of lightning and silently said goodbye to our last night of the trip.
