... a tiny schoolroom turned museum at one end and a general store at the other end. It was great stop that we would have missed if the road hadn’t turned to gravel.

Phoenix was too hot but we did not let that stop us. Next stop... The Grand Canyon. It’s supposed to be a lot cooler up there. I'm looking forward to that.

... about an hour and a half late. Phoenix was 20 degrees when we landed, bright sunshine. Got our car organized ( getting our suitcases in was fun, we probably should have upsized) and drove to the condo for arrival at about 4:30 local time. ... raisins and gave them to us, explaining that we "looked as if we needed them". Weird.
We eventually made our way across to Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado where we spent a day, looking at ancient stone structures made by the native Anasazi people around 200AD. ... all my years of WNBA watching the very much increased speed of the game is just so noticeable :)
This is what you get when you put the best of the best together! :)

Seeing women's basketball in an arena like US Airways Center is something i will remember for a long time as well ... the hype, the arena, the crowd, the knowledge, the enthusiasm - It really is just awesome to see. Thats all i can say! :)

... has been working in Phoenix where the movie is being filmed since early February. They found the restaurant that is being used as The Griddle House quite by chance. The owners have gone bust and the building has been repossessed by the bank, so they are able to rent it for the couple of months that they need it for filming. The set designer has made some internal cosmetic changes ( signage, pictures on the walls and New Years decorations ) but otherwise the place is ...
